Basic Care
| Feature | Requirement |

| Light | Full sun is mandatory. Place in a spot receiving at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight to encourage flowering and fruiting. |
| Watering | Keep soil consistently moist. Guava trees have high water needs; never let the root ball dry out completely, but ensure the pot has excellent drainage. |
| Soil | Use a well-draining bonsai mix (e.g., a blend of akadama, pumice, and organic compost). It prefers slightly acidic soil. |
| Fertilizer | Feed every two weeks during the growing season (spring to autumn) with a high-potassium liquid fertilizer to support fruit production. |
| Pruning | Pinch back new shoots to two leaves after they have grown 6–8 leaves to maintain the miniature shape. Heavy pruning should be done in late winter. |
| Temperature | Maintain a warm environment (above 15°C/60°F). It is tropical and will not survive frost. |
